Delete your SweetWonder account
SweetWonder · developed by Martin Donchev · last updated 17 September 2026
You can delete your SweetWonder account and the records held against it at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone, so please export any report you want to keep before you start.
Delete the account in the app
- Open SweetWonder on your phone.
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm when you are asked to. If you signed in with an email and password, you will be asked for your password once, to prove the phone is yours.
This takes effect immediately. Your sign-in account is destroyed and every record on that phone is erased, including the milestone photos, which were never anywhere else.
Request deletion by email
If you ever signed in and let your records sync between devices, a copy of them is also held on our server so it can reach your other phone. To have that copy erased, send one email:
Write to [email protected] from the email address you signed in with, with the subject “Delete my account and data”.
Sending it from the address on the account is how we know the request is yours. We do not ask for any other proof, and we never ask for your password by email.
You will get a reply confirming it is done. This is handled within 30 days of the request,
You can send that email whether or not you completed step 1 — including if you have already uninstalled the app.
This opens your email app. Your request is sent only when you send the email.
What is deleted
- Your account: email address, account identifier and display name.
- Your babies: name, sex and date of birth.
- Everything you tracked: sleep, feeds, nappies, awake time, temperature, growth measurements, milestones, medicines, vaccinations, nappy supply counts, appointments and your sleep plan.
- Your pregnancy records: due date, antenatal visits, contractions, your own weight and blood pressure readings, hospital bag and birth plan lists.
- Pumping sessions and your milk stash.
- Your mood check-ins.
- Your conversations with the AI assistant, and the count of how many questions you asked.
- Your family-sharing membership, so shared babies stop appearing for you.
- Everything held on the phone itself, including milestone photos, which are only ever stored on your own device and are never uploaded.
What is kept, and for how long
- Records for a baby shared with another caregiver. If you invited someone to a baby, that baby’s entries belong to both of you and stay in place for them. Your access ends; their copy does not. If you want the baby removed for everyone, delete the baby in the app before you delete your account, or say so in your email.
- Purchase records. If you bought a subscription, the record of that purchase is held by Google Play or Apple, not by us, and we cannot delete it. Our own copy — which is only the fact that a subscription was active — is kept for up to 7 years where Bulgarian accounting law requires it. It contains no baby or pregnancy data.
- Anything already on someone else’s device, or in your own phone’s backup, is outside our reach.
- Encrypted server backups roll off automatically within 30 days, after which nothing of yours remains in them.
Nothing else is kept. There is no analytics, no advertising identifier and no third-party tracking in SweetWonder, so there is no profile of you to delete elsewhere.
Deleting one thing instead of everything
You do not have to delete the whole account to get rid of something. Any single entry, baby, measurement or photo can be deleted on its own in the app, and that deletion reaches your other devices on the next sync.
Questions
Write to [email protected]. Under the GDPR you may also ask for a copy of your data before deleting it, and you have the right to complain to your national data protection authority; in Bulgaria that is the Commission for Personal Data Protection.
